Launch Playbook

A women’s wellness community brand for London — mat pilates and the social half nobody else programmes.

Built pre-launch: positioning, creator selection, content plan, and the numbers under all three.

How to read this page. REVA has not launched. Every block below carries an evidence flag. Nothing here is presented as a result it isn’t.

Delivered

The work exists.

Modelled

Arithmetic on assumptions.

Planned

A decision not yet tested.

Everybody sells the first 45 minutes.

REVA is built on the second block.

Thirty programmed minutes where nobody is allowed to leave immediately. The class is the door. The room is the product.

The offer

Delivered

Women in their twenties and thirties move to London and find the fitness market well supplied and the friendship market empty. REVA sells the second thing using the first as the door: a 45-minute mat pilates class, then thirty programmed minutes where nobody is allowed to leave immediately. Every class is taught by a qualified instructor.

Three decisions behind the plan

Planned

Mat, not reformer

Reformer ties the brand to one studio’s equipment, rent and timetable. Mat travels — any room with floor space and a speaker becomes a venue, which means the community is the product and the venue is a variable.

Door price £5, not £22

Pilots priced to fill the room, not to profit

Twenty mats at £5 is £100 at best — and gifted creator places come out of the same twenty, so the real door take is lower again. Against a £240 cost ceiling that is a gap of up to £140 per pilot, and that is the point: the pilots buy attendance data, repeat rate and a content library, all worth more in January than £140 of margin is now.

Gap closes: venue revenue-share + partner-funded refreshments

No paid launch in October

A sponsored launch was on the table and REVA turned it down. Spending on reach before three pilots show whether anyone comes back would buy a busy first event and no evidence.

January launch on pilot data — or not at all

Creator selection

Delivered

The criteria were written before anyone opened Instagram, so the shortlist is a filter rather than a taste test. Fifty London nano-creators cleared it out of a mapped pool.

FilterWhy it disqualifies
Audience geographyLondon-weightedA 30k account outside the M25 cannot put one body in a Battersea room. Reach that can’t travel is decoration.
Size band1k–10kAbove it, reply rates collapse and rate cards start. Below it, there is no audience to move.
Comment qualityQuestions, plans, tagsAn emoji-only comment section is an audience that watches. REVA needs one that turns up.
Format fitAlready films in roomsIf they only shoot flat-lays, the pilot ends up paying to teach them a new format.
ToneUnpolished, warmREVA is not an aesthetic brand. Highly produced feeds sell aspiration; we sell showing up alone.
Brand safetyNo competing studio, 90 daysA recent reformer partnership makes the post read as paid, and the room read as second choice.
Modelled — not a result

50 creators × (1 in-feed + 1 story) × median observed reach ≈ 150,000 organic impressions

This is a ceiling, not a forecast. It assumes every creator on the list participates, which no seeding programme achieves. It is used to size the ask and set the cost-per-impression the pilot budget has to beat — never to promise reach. Realistic planning runs at a 30–40% acceptance rate against this number.

REVA — Pilot Event Brief

Written for the pilot shortlist  ·  one page  ·  no approval round

The ask
Attend one pilot. One reel, 15–30 seconds, posted within 48 hours. Two stories on the day with the ticket link sticker.
Must include
  • The room before it fills — doors, mats, the setup.
  • The social half, not just the class. This is the bit that is actually different.
  • One honest line about walking in without knowing anyone.
Please don’t
  • Piece to camera in a studio voice. Film it like you’d film it for a friend.
  • Body or transformation framing of any kind.
  • Say “obsessed”. Say what happened.
You get
Your place plus one guest place, travel covered to £10, first pick of the January schedule, and every asset we shoot of you.
Usage
90 days, organic and paid, REVA channels and partner venue channels. Credit on every repost.
Approval
None. If we have to approve it, it stops sounding like you, which is the only reason we asked you.

Content plan

Planned

Founder-anonymous by design. The room is the subject, members are the faces, and the team stays behind the camera — so the format doesn’t depend on any one person being at every event.

The Room

B-roll · hands · floor level · doors opening · no faces

Has to prove the space is warm and small enough to be survivable alone.

The Half We Don’t Skip

Ambient audio · overheard fragments · the thirty minutes after

Has to prove REVA is a social product, not a discounted pilates class.

Plain Talk

Text-led carousels · one sentence per card

Has to prove someone here has said the awkward part out loud first.

What we’ll measure

Planned — pilots run autumn 2026
Fill rate100%By pilot 3. Twenty seats is a low bar. Failing it means the offer, not the marketing, is wrong.
Repeat rate≥ 40%The only number that distinguishes a community from an event. Everything else is vanity.
Cost per attendee≤ £12Ceiling ÷ capacity. Above it, the January model doesn’t scale.
Content return≥ 70%Assets received ÷ places gifted. Below it, the seeding list needs re-cutting, not enlarging.
Story → ticket clicksBenchmark at pilot 1Shows which creators sell and which ones only post.
Waitlist growthPer event, netThe forward-looking number. Flat waitlist after a full room means the room isn’t spreading.
